toilet training NEW
by: Anonymous

I had a similar problem with my pup, even wetting his own bed .I had a dog trainer who advised taking the dog out every hour and taking a small pece of ham or cheese with you.(that's his favourite ).Stay with him the entire time when he goes reward him instantly, within 3 seconds ideally.with lots of praise.doesn't work overnight but saw a huge improvement in the first few days. After 2/3weeks completely clean.Good luck x

Housetraining NEW
by: Michele

Housetraining puppies can be a challenge. You need to be sure Jess is on a schedule, so she knows when to expect to go outside and learns to hold it until then. When I have a dog I'm trying to housetrain I don't allow any water after 7:00 PM. You have to make going outside a game so they learn that it is a fun experience. Get very excited, clap your hands and say something like 'let's go potty, do you want to go potty?' Take her out and as soon as she goes reward her with a lot of praise, petting and a treat doesn't hurt. Even after you think the housetraining is working you still need to keep up with a regular schedule. Good luck!
