5 month old female English Springer Spaniel not emptying her bladder

I have a 5 month old female English Springer Spaniel, and when I take her outside to pee, or take her on walks, she does not empty her bladder.

Instead she does multiple squats and pees a little each time. It makes no difference how long we are outside.

Her trainer thought it might be a bladder infection, and so he gave her antibiotics, but it didn't seem to make a difference. He mentioned that she may have "squaters"? Not sure if this is an official problem, or just a description for the tendency to do as my pup is doing.

Also, she is still having occasional pee mishaps in the house while I leave her out and about in the house with me when I'm home. We have been crate training her from the beginning, and she rarely has an accident in her crate.

She is very intelligent, so I'm starting to worry that it's either a physical problem or an attitude one. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any feedback!

Has she been spayed? I ask because sometimes after they're spayed they have some tinkling issues.

My younger Springer has the same problem. She has had numerous urinary tract infections. She is 3 years old and this has been ongoing since we got her at 10 months. I try to make sure she always has fresh water and I make sure she drinks often.

As far as your dog - sometimes antibiotics require more than one round. I would take her to the vet & explain the problem. If possible, try to take some urine with you for testing.
