Ada the Springer Spaniel

Ada - springer spaniel
We rescued Ada a few weeks ago from people who didn't want her because she was too much to handle when her and her sister were together.
They advertised her for free on Gumtree. She was kept on her own, in a cage with a concrete floor, sheet of cardboard and a bucket of water.
She only saw one person when they came out to feed her at night after work. Ada was advertised as being desexed and vaccinated. She had never been to a vet. At first, she had separation anxiety from me but reassured her I was coming back. Ada was never toilet trained - she is now.
She's now also desexed and about to have her shots. Ada didn't know how to play. It was so sad. Now she throws toys around and runs after them. We're still obedience training her but she's getting there. She seems to be really lazy. We can be holding her and then put her down, and she stays exactly how we put her.
She licks us and she moves her head slowly, not the tongue. Sometimes she'll just rest her tongue on us. We know she loves us heaps and we are so blessed to have found each other. If only she wouldn't fart so much ..... pewwwww! Lol :-)
