Hi thought l will give you an up-date on amber as she is 8 months old today.

Well she has been a delight to have her she was easy to house train she just went out our cat flap , when out on our walks she is always away in front in the bushed enbankment trying to catch birds or having a good rumble in them you would think l was out walking alone sometimes.

One day we were out she cut her back pad taking a chunk away so she had to have 4 stiches poor Amber, had them in for 10 days but that never stopped her from exploring everything. When we go out she is lovely and clean but bye the time she returns she is a dirty pup but a very happy one!!!!!!!!!! As she aint used to being on a lead when l have to put her on one she just pulls she just wants to go and explore all, any tips what will solve my only problem with her thanks.

Beautiful dog!

She is just gorgeous! We won't have our first ESS for another week yet, but with my Border Collies I used a "Halti" training head collar. It has a strap around the face/jaw where the lead attaches to the side; every time your dog pulls on the leash, the strap pulls his head over to one side. They can still open their mouths. It doesn't hurt at all, but the dog quickly learns that lunging on the leash gets him nowhere. It worked quickly for me, you can Google Halti to learn more. Good luck!
