Bailey the springer spaniwl

Happy Bailey on his bed.
My husband always wanted an English Springer Spaniel so when our Cairn Terrier passed away from cancer we got one. I was mid-way through chemo when we lost our terrier. Our next door neighbor sprayed chemicals in a yard and all around our fence all the time. When I was at work he would spray.
We found a breeder in the area Avonlea Springers, which has been around since the 1970s. To make a long story short we got Bailey as a puppy. We had a fenced yard and he has been a total bundle of joy and energy!!!!
Then my husband lost his job, we lost the house and had to move into a county run senior apartment. I'm 62 but very active, walk 4 to 6 miles a day and Bailey loves it! Most the people here are elderly and the ones that aren't sit around in the lobby all day and complain and gossip.
Most these people tell me they hate animals and so I do my best to stay away from them. If it weren't for Bailey I don't know how I'd deal with this place. He keeps us entertained and active. Return to Your Springer Spaniel PicturesReturn to Love Springer Spaniels Homepage
