I'm so sorry your lost Charlie, though I know time has passed. We lost our Cocker Spaniel, about 16 years ago and remained loyal to her until this year. We adopted Maggie when she was 6 weeks old. She was soooo active and drew blood every day by puppy biting. She didn't want to be held or loved. I wanted to get rid of her, but my husband wanted to wait until she matured to see how she would be. I prayed many times that Maggie would turn out to be a nice dog. Well, she is a delight. She loves attention and being loved. She is smart; playful; loving and a real companion. Just the thought of losing her makes me realize how much I love her and thank Maggie for all the fun she has introduced me to. Our latest fun is swimming together. My husband and I drove 140 miles, round trip, just so Maggie could swim. I use to clean our house too much. Now I play and laugh. I appreciate your loss and hope you now own another Springer.

We miss Charlie alot, especially now when we, in the past,had taken our traditional "pumpkin photo" with Charlie. We thought about doing the photo with our new springer pup, Nellie, but decided against it. This was something we did with Charlie....we can't replace her. So, we will find a new traditional photo to take with Nellie.

What a cute picture. I'm so sorry that you lost Charlie and it's the down-side of owning a springer. He will always be in your heart, I can assure you!!
We lost our Yogurt, a liver and white springer, in 2005. She was 13 and had good life. I'm still sad even tho' we have Cassy & Sam.
You will always treasure those pictures.

She was gorgeous! She so much resembles my Casey, who is also liver and white. She's 11 years old today. And she too loves the cooler, which we hope to have some of soon in Florida!
She wears a Halloween costume every year so she can stand in the driveway and greet the trick or treaters! She doesn't really care for the costumes, my husband claims she is humiliated, but she's a good sport!
Now that I've seen your beautiful Charlie and her pumpkin, I am definitely going to have to take the time to get a photo uploaded of Casey in one of her costumes!
