Emma the English, English Springer Spaniel

I had known for quite a while that I wanted an English Springer Spaniel. I had planned the newest addition to our family and wanted a special name for her. I arrived at Emma because it was a combination of my boys' names.

E for Erickson (our last name)
M for Matthew
M for Mark
A for timothy Andrew

It seemed like the perfect name. Emma is so "English"
My kindergarten teacher was named Miss Emma Belle and I loved her so. The only natural thing was to add Belle in her honor.

My grandchildren live in Mississippi and with their southern twang, they call her Emma Bale.
