Great News! by: June
We have great news!!!! Emma was misdiagnosed and she DOES NOT have Addison's Disease. Definetly and answer to prayer. She is doing great now. The vet said that he was wrong and so happy to tell me that she did not have Addison's. But I pray for the pups that do have it and their owners who have to deal with hit on a daily basis.
Thanks for your concern!!!

Emma's illness by: Maggie's mom
Hi June,
I don't know anything about Emma's diagnosis, but I will pray for her. She looks so much like Maggie and I know you love her very much. I hope she is doing well. Keep us posted. Nancy

I hope everything works out for you. I can imagine what a shock finding that out must have been, but that is a disease that is manageable.
Your Emma is gorgeous! She reminds me a lot of my Casey, when she was younger.

Addison's Disease by: Michele
Rather than me trying to explain Addison's to you, check out this website:

Also, you might consider getting a 2nd opinion. That in no way belittles your vet, but is a good idea any time your pet (or you!) is diagnosed with something that is going to be a chronic condition.
Lastly, if your purchased the beautiful Emma from a breeder, you need to contact him / her & advise of the illness. The breeder needs to be aware that this has occurred to one of her / his dogs.
