First time Mating Springer Spaniels

Hi I wonder if anyone out there could maybe give me some advice on mating my Springer Spaniels ??

I have 3 1/2 year old Male (Show breed) black and white called Harley and a 16 month old field spaniel Bitch called Suki also black and white.

I am considering mating them and wondered if anyone could offer any advice for me they are Both KC Reg and in good health and up to date with their injections etc.

Check out the Breeding Springer Spaniels Page, you should get plenty of advice from there.

Breeding across the two lines makes for great springers, I have known a couple who are half field and half show and they were great springer spaniels.

If they are both in great health I cannot see any problems with their breeding but still get the vet to check them over and check for things such as Hip Dysplasia and Hip Dysplasia
