How much exercise for my Springer Spaniel?

I have a 9 week old springer puppy - I also have an 8 1/2 year old labrador, when the lab was a puppy we couldn't walk him far til he was 1 but I cannot find such information on Springers. As a more active breed I'm wondering how much is too much, once she has had her 2nd jabs etc obviously !

The other thing she is doing and cannot be distracted from is digging at the furniture, kitchen cupboards.
