	How to make your own bed for your Spinger Spaniel by Mary Jane Warchol (Gold Canyon,AZ) Bed for your dog To make an inexpensive bed for your dog, buy a foam mattress topper at a large discount store. Usually the twin size will do. Cut it to the size you want for your dog. If you have all tile like I do, or an older dog you may want it two or three thick. Buy a twin flat sheet in a color to match your decor, and large safety pins. Wrap around the bed and pin on the bottom. This is easy to take off to wash and much cheaper than dog beds from the pet stores. If you sew you can also sew velcro to the bottom instead of safety pins, or even buy a yard of fabric and use that. I have beds all over my house and each matches the room they are in.
