How to put in ear drops when your springer spaniel is terrified and aggresive

This is the culprit, our springer spaniel Monty
My Springer Spaniel will let me wipe his ears out brush his ears etc, but when I try to put drops in he is very aggresive.
I have to muzzle him but he still struggles and trys to bite. Please can any one help, we have only had him since December and he was a rescue sniffer dog aged nearly 3, my other 2 I have had from pups are great they lie flat out for me to do it no problem at all, I suppose as I have done it since they where pups they are used to it, Lyn

Hi Lyn, perhaps this is something you hae to try on a regular basis to de-senstize him. I would say do it after a walk so he is tired, and also reward him with his favorite treats and toys afterwards
