She is just so pretty and standing there like she knows it and wants to show everyone else. LuLu is a beauty.

Sounds like she leans more towards the English Cocker part than the springer part. I think the English cockers are really cute! Darcy is 53 lbs.
The breeder had large springers. Did you ever see pictures of the English Cocker breeding males and females from that breeder?
It's so much fun to see them come out of their shell after what they've been through. They just unfold like a flower and gives you such a great feeling of accomplishment. Their actions tell a story and from that we can figure out pretty much what their owners looked like! When we first got Cassy, she loved everyone she met except one man who walked his dog along the same place we walked. (She came from being kept in a rabbit cage.) Anyway, this guy up at the park was heavy and he smoked. He was very nice, though. But whenever we'd meet, Cassy would sit down in the grass with her back to him. She never growled, but just avoided him trying to pet her and/or talk to her. Eventually, she got over it, but I figured that her first owner who mistreated her was probably a smoker.

Yes Lulu does have thick legs and big feet but she is full grown at 30 lbs. She is doing better everyday because growing up for two years in a puppy mill she has become very fearful..She certainly is a different dog then when we brought her home! She is starting to play and loves her walks! She is still not sure of her younger crazy brother Vegas as he is just a big puppy and full of the nick!

She is a beauty! The breeder will tell you she's roan coloring.
Does Lulu have thick feet and legs? Darcy has thick feet. Really, he is thick all over and acts like a sack of potatoes sometimes! Just dead weight when you try to lift him.
