Meadow the Springer Spaniel Puppy

Meadow is just turning 8 weeks tomorrow, we have had her a week now and she is already sitting, staying and going to her bed on command so she is very cleaver but she is also a little mischief and she loves getting lots of cuddles.

Emma's food
by: June

I feed Emma Taste of The Wild. It's hard to fine, there is only one store in this area
that carries it. you can google it. It has no filler. If you can find it, I think it would be great for Meadow. The store manager recommended it. Springers are known to be rather hyper. Emma
can be that way around new people, but generally she is rather calm. I started leaving her out of her kennel alone at home when she was 7 months old. She has only chewed one lampshade (and I didn't like that shade anyway, lol) She is almost humun. It is unbelievable how smart she is. When she drinks, she gets her ears wet...if she tries to put her head in my lap, I say "go get your towel so we can dry your ears" She goes and gets her towel. We always leave one in the kennel for such things. Please email me if you want to..I would love to exchange ideas.
MsJune124@aol.com Kisses to Meadow. I have posted several pics of Emma on this site...under the name of Emma Belle. Check her out!

22 months must be a great age she must be right at her peak! We find Meadow gets very hyperactive after her meals, we are thinking it’s her food (Royal Canin) did you find the same with Emma? And can I ask What you feed Emma? Also everyone keeps telling us they are really hard to control and they are very hyperactive all the time, do you find that? Any help or suggestions you can give us would be great as we do not know any other Springer owners.

neat idea
by: June

That's cool! My sringer is 22 months old and her name is Emma. I named her after my kids.
Our last name is Erickson, Matt, Mark and (timothy) Andrew.....EMMA. I like names that have a connection to something. She is my second Springer (Willow was my first) Springers make wonderful pets, wonderful.

Myself and my husband both lived on a street called "The Meadows" in different parts of the country which is a coincidence we always talk about so we liked how it has meaning also it's so pretty
