Memorial for Otto the Springer Spaniel

Otto was my amazing springer. He had such a funny personality and endearing habits. He was quite a handful but he made life so interesting.

He ate every toy we ever gave him, squeaker, fluff and all, but "adopted" a childhood stuffed animal of mine for his lifelong pal.

Any food he could get his paws on was his for the taking, including fresh veggies from the garden, tomatoes, peppers and green beans were his favorite.

We swear all the vine ripened food was the key to his longevity. He was my best friend since I was ten years old and putting him down today was the hardest thing I have ever done.

There is something magical about childhood dogs that can never be duplicated. I will never forget you Otto. Even though my heart is broken for you right now, it is all worth it for the 15 wonderful years you gave me. I love you.

So sorry for Your loss !

I know what it's like. I lost my best friend, my springer Vilma 10 years ago and she'll stay in my heart and my mind forever.
Otto seems to have been just like my springer :
Quite a personality :)

Otto R.I.P

My heart goes out to you. I had to make the very difficult desicion for my wonderful friend Ellie just 4 days before christmas 2010. My heart was broken and I still miss her so much. I had 17 wonderful years with her and have so many lovely memories, but Otto will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.......lots of hugs xx

I am so sorry for your loss. I is so hard to lose a pet, and I know the decision you had to make was probably very difficult. I know that you have great memories of Otto, and hold those memories close to your heart....that way Otto will always be with you.

So sorry for your loss. It is never easy having to put your beloved pet to sleep. You were blessed to have so many wonderful years with your Otto. My Millie girl left us in September and we had almost 13 years with her and we miss her still so much. My sincere sympathies, Chrissy

I am so very sorry for your loss. Our pets mean so much to us. They're so easy to love, asking nothing in return, but love. They never judge us. They don't care if our hair is a mess, if our clothes don't match or if we haven't brushed our teeth.

You've made a very difficult decision, but one that was done with love & kindness. You will always have Otto in your heart and one day, believe it or not, you will be ready to love another dog.
