My springer spaniel won't sleep in her dog house

by Aedin

My nearly 7month old springer spaniel, beau, refuses to go into her dog house but instead will sleep under the holly bush in the rain. We have tried keeping her in the shed but she barks all night and to avoid complains from the neighbours we decided to take her outside. I'm scared she will become sick as it is raining an awful lot and freezing at night. Is this normal behaviour or does she show signs of being unwell she is our first dog so we don't have much experience please help?

Springers are ready and exceptionally shrewd, you will need to keep her entertained.

Get another puppy, to stay with her. Secure your greenhouse, so she can circled. Take her for general strolls, fluctuating your courses to fortify her.

My father had a springer, she could keep running for miles over the mountain before the auto, if there was more incitement when she returned home, her vitality levels were still high.

Sleeping arrangements? NEW
by: Beaus mom

Maybe she feels safer where she can see all around. If it's freezing outside, bring her in. Sleep in the kitchen even in a carte. I don't agree with a single dog sleeping alone outside with No company or heat.
Try inside sleeping. Even a bed on the kitchen or laundry room floor.
I hope she isn't left outside all day everyday because that's no life.
