I have read in alot of places about how their new springer pup has a "smell" that is undesireable. I have apparently "lucked out" in that my pup does not have this smell. Nellie has the typical "puppy breath" ...however, that is it. My older springer, Charlie, did have a bad smell toward the end of her life, though, which the vet attributed to old age. Charlie did have an ear infection, however, that particular smell cleared up when the infection did.

She is precious! Isn't it funny how much entertainment they can provide? My Sadie, not quite two, entertained us last weekend by jumping through the porch door. That was about 3 hours before 22 people came for a cookout for our 18 year old twins! Ah yes, we were plenty entertained!
