	Nine month old pup who won't leave an older dog alone... by Gail Levy (Falkirk, Scotland) We have my mums 10 year old Springer female staying with us for 5 weeks and my nine month old Springer male pup will not leave her alone. He has known her since he was 8 weeks but he constantly is at her to play. He barges into her, sits on her, tries to nip her and then barks at her!!!! She just growls at him and has even flown at him but it doesn't stop him...help!! From Anna@love-springer-spaniels.com Hi there the pup is showing normal behaviour but the older springer needs to have a place she can go to to get away from the younger one, either that or put the pup in a crate to give the older dog a break. Also make sure the younger dog has had plenty of exercise, a tired pup is less likely to pester.
