Our first springer monty

Monty was our first springer, we got him at 8 weeks old old , he was of the bigger type of working springer, very handsome large head, deep chest and a huge personality to match. When Monty was 18 months old we got his brother Harvey our eldest now, they were from the same parents 1 litter apart, they were inseperable from the start, monty was so tolerant of this boisterous pup, his best friend from the start.

Unfortunately Monty was diagnosed with Dilated Cardio-myopathy at the age of 7 its a very long story from the start to finish but he was given 4 days to live when he collapsed and was advised to have him p.t.s we couldnt give up so easily we wasnt prepared to be thinking this way it all happened so fast, so with a huge ammount of care, meds and many,many sacrifices the brave man was with us much to our vets amaxemant for another 11 months, sadly he was p.t.s 2 years ago to this day.

We now have molly she will be 2 in July an absolute dream,and Harveys life saver, he was very ill with depression after Monty's death, she very quickly wormed her way into his heart.
