I also have a black & white Springer named Sadie! And she also loves sticks! She'll find one, pick it up and race around the yard looking to see if anyone is chasing her! We never are, but that doesn't seem to matter to her. She also loves plastic pots and she'll come into the shed and still then while you're not looking! It's hard to get mad at a Springer!

If a stick is nearby, a springer will find it. Emma loves to walk with a stick in her mouth. She usually has one in the front yard and one in the back yard. If I say, "where's your stick?" She knows we are going for a walk. Aren't the wonderful?
