Sadie Covered In Snow

Sadie Covered In Snow

Sadie loves playing in the snow, chasing her frizbee or a ball.

She also likes to dig in the snow for peanuts the squrells have buried.

The only problem is how do I get all the snow balls of her fur ?

From Anna@love-springer-spaniels.com
to prevent the snowballs in her fur rub her legs and tummy with cooking oil before you go out

Spinger Sadie
by: Murielle

Sadie is a beauty indeed...! springers love snow...! for the snow....I live in Qu├ębec...so very cold..! I put there coats on... and i mix vaseline 2/3 and 1/3 of glyceryne that you can buy at a drug store...mix it together in a jar..! its great..! we rub a bit between there paws cussions...at least when they pull to get the snow out of there paws, it slides,so they dont hurt them ! no more swelling or bleeding..! its great..! I put it on just before the walk or playtime...so i wont have a mess in the house...when they come back i clean there paws with a dry towel...!

Lovely

Your dog looks so much like our Millie who also loves the snow and the cold creeks at this time of year. Just a lovely picture.

Thanks for the tips
by: Rob

Thank you for your tips on removing the snow on Sadie's fur. We previously had 2 German Sheppards and this was never a problem. Springers are very different than our Sheppards and has taken us a bit to adjust. Sadie is higher maintenance then the Seppards but we wouldn't trade her for the world. She is very smart and lovable and GREAT with our 10 Grandkids. We are thinking of a second Springer to keep her company and to play with. She really needs lots of play. A busy Springer is a good Springer.

Sadie

She is so cute! I have a Sadie too. Here in Florida we don't have snow, so getting snow off fur isn't an issue! But, how about a hair dryer? It would probably melt the snow enough to brush it out.

Just a thought!
