Springer Spaniel cross is 22 kg

by Marc

How many times a day and how much should I be feeding my Springer Spaniel Cross? She is 6 years old but she has epilepsy and is being treated on phenobarb and potassium bromide.

She is always hungry!! She has even started going through the bin!!

Hi there,
it depends on the brand of food that you feed your dog, you should go by the directions on the back of the packet to tell you how much.

As for how often, is she is going through bins you could split feeding morning and evening.

Spaniel cross and food
by: Lynn

Hi there,,

It also depends what your ESS is crossed with. If its say crossed with a lab then your dog will be heavier. Typical ESS can be between 17-24kg. We had one that was just under 24kg and was given 2 meals a day, no treats and plenty of exercise so we just put it down to the way she was built.
