They tend to get furrier and fluffier as they get older

Hairy ESS
by: Lynn

Can I ask what age your ESS is?

There are different types of hair on ESS.

We have brother and sister and the sister has much longer feathers on her legs and wirey hair that malts more. He brother will need clipping twice a yr(they are 2yrs) as he still looks like he has puppy fluff but it doesn't malt as much and is softer to the touch. Although its a nightmare when they go for a walk as the sticking buds attach to him more.

People tend to say that a more wirey haired ESS is a working one.
