	springer spaniel puppy nipping by Janet Whitehouse (United Kingdom) My Springer Spaniel puppy is 8 weeks old and we have had him 3 days but he is constantly nipping at our trouser hems. This is a common problem, its their way of getting your attention. What you have to do whenever they nip at you is to let out a high pitch aaiiiieeeeeeee and turn your back on them. By doing this you are letting them know you are not happy and they will not get your attention if they perist. George was just the same but with consitency and using this technique he stoped and has nevre mouthed or nipped since. Good luck and don't forget to send those puppy picture.
