Springer Spaniel Weight Query

My black and White springer full dog is a fantastic, 100%fit and very strong and muscular, he is 24kg and vet says he perfect, I'm worried because you can sort of see his ribs ( my other 2 springers are a little better covered, they have chicken and rice chappie complete in the morning and the same at night with a tin of wet food, they are all worked and perfect heathy.... Can anyone suggest a supplement or something to put little biddy bit of weight on xxxx

From Anna@love-springer-spaniels.com

Hi there
Its common to see their ribs, think of them as edurance atheletes, they don't tend to have much meat on them.

What I would recommend is a hypoallergenic food, as they need all the nutrients they can get, especially active ones such as Burns Active or underweight Dog Food

Good luck
