Working and having a springer spaniel
by Sarah varley

Hi, we are thinking of getting a springer spaniel next year but just wanted some advice. We are a family, our 2 children are at school and we work during the day.
Im planning another baby next year and was going to get the puppy at roughly the same time so that I would be at home all the time for the first year when it was very young. We do both work so I would be able to take her for an hours walk in the morning and an hours walk at night and then I was going to get a dog walker to take her out at lunch time for an hour. Would this be enough exercise for her. I work 4 days and at the weekend we go to the coast where we have a static caravan so we are always on the beach and going for long walks in the woods. I am planning to have a kennel with a big run built in the garden so she is not inside the house all day. Do you think this would work and provide enough exercise for the dog or not??? any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi Sarah Its sounds like you are putting plenty of thought into this and catering for your springer spaniels needs.
I can see a problem with the arrangements you have set up, as long as you keep training your puppy as well.
Good luck
