Sadie

by Rob
(Mississauga, Ontario, Canada)

Meet Sadie, our Springer Spaniel Puppy. She just turned 3 months old and has in a short time become a big part of our family. She is very smart and has already learned a few tricks. She is also quick to test my wife and myself to see how far she can push us. We knew Springers were very energetic dogs and are lucky to have a big fenced yard she can run and burn off all that energy.

Tia relaxing after a long walk when camping in the New Forest

Tia loves long walks and tearing through the bushes. Mud is also a favourite and those muddy puddles are a magnet. She has to get every part of her covered in the mud, including her tongue! She loves to have a nice warm shower after her walk and relaxes in the evening with a cuddle. Ask her for a cuddle and she jumps up on your lap and rests her head against your chest.

LET THE RAT LOOSE IN THE HOUSE,HAD HIM FETCH THE RAT,BUT HE THOUGHT IT WAS A TOY FOR HIM LET IT LOOSE ALL THE TIME.FANILLY HAD THE RAT CORNERED AND KILLED IT. CASH WAS VERY MAD AT ME FOR KILLING HIS TOY, HE WAS POUTING ABOUT IT.
WHEN CASH WAS O7 MOUNTHS OLD,OUT ICE FISHING HE GRABBED A BRAT OF A GUYS GRILL THE GUY BLAME IS FRIENDS FOR EATING IT. WE LAUGH SO HARD.
I THINK SPRINGERS ARE ONE OF THE BEST DOGS FOR TRAINING AND AS A FRIEND TO LEAN ON OR THEY LEAN ON YOU.

Pancho

by Wolf Puls
(Kirkland, WA, USA)

Hey its Pancho

Hey its Pancho

Pancho ( my wife Lindy teaches Spanish so our 2 Springers' have decidedly Spanish names) is just a few months older than 3 years and he is definitely "All Boy".

Contrast him with our proper and sweet 12 year old female Tango, he can be a real "Diablo" but he has the heart of a good dog.

Energy - oh my - this dog can run and catch a tennis ball 5 feet in mid air and the mere words " go for a walk?" get his whole body wiggling uncontrollably.

We adore them both and as our oldest gets into her golden years, we are glad that his energy rubs off on her and they are truly " the best of buddies"

Bella

by Lu Tadych
(Ohio)

Is this the face of a criminal?

Is this the face of a criminal?

Bella is the bread bandit. On occasion, she decides that bread is on the menu.
We have found she likes to steal the loaf and carry it upstairs to my husbands office.
She does not feel the need to hide the evidence. We will find it on the floor in plain sight. When we present the bag to her and ask if she ate the bread she will sniff the bag, and turn her head to the side as if saying "What Bread?". Our only resort is to hide the bread in the safe, the microwave. Next resort will be to put a child safety lock on the bread drawer.

Casey & Sadie

Casey & Sadie

This is Casey & Sadie. Casey is the liver & white, she's 11 years old. Sadie, the black & white is 2 years old. They are such wonderful dogs. I bought Casey at 8 weeks of age for my husband's Christmas gift in 1998.

Last year my Dad passed away. He had lived for us for several years and he and Casey were constant companions. She was at a total loss when he died, always going into his room and looking for him. We decided she needed a new friend so we found Sadie. She was 10 months old when we brought her home. Now they are best friends and love each other dearly.

Abbey is the most happiest when shes covered in mud, wet through & with a ball in her mouth !!!! She just loves toys, any toy will do, but her most favourite is a ball.
Shes our first springer, we have had 2 dalmatians before, & still have 1. I absolutely adore her & she does us, she follows us everywhere, & apart from being happiest when shes covered in mud, shes also happy when shes cuddled up next to me on the sofa !!!! Shes our little baby of the family & we love her to bits.

Indi

Crazy puppy :D

Crazy puppy :D

Indi is my first English Springer that I've ever properly owned. He is the craziest dog I've ever known, and loves nothing more than a good run around the fields! He knows lots of tricks such as walking on his hind legs, circling me backwards, jumping over my back and leg weaving. He loves to learn new things, but his favourite trick has to be spinning! He spins so fast and just loves it!
