I've never heard of that remedy, but I may try it! I do have another that works for my dogs; rice and chicken. Boil skinless, boneless chicken and cook some rice. Cut the chicken up into small pieces. You want 2/3 rice and 1/3 chicken. The chicken is really just to flavor the rice with. The first couple of meals I only use the chicken & rice. Then I start adding the dog food back in. It works! And it works especially well for diarrhea.
